Photographs
I love photographs.
They capture life's precious moments on film, so that you can remember them always.
(For example, photos of your travelling-self happily waving on idyllic beaches)
Photographs have the dual benefit of not capturing the majority of life's actual moments on film, which is helpful because it aids the process of idealising the past, and also making people jealous on facebook.
(For example, your travelling-self being very grumpy and tired on idyllic beaches)
