I've heard it said that if you want proof of God's existence, you don't need to look any further than a sunset.
Meh. Doesn't really work for me. Wikipedia can explain a sunset to me easy as pie (scattering of light at different wavelengths, yadi yadi yada...).
No, some days I need more than that. Now I'm not saying that spirituality and science are mutually exclusive.
But somedays, I want to see something that has no reasonable explanation other than the miraculous work of a divine being. Something so mind-boggling that no law of physics, logic, or reason can possibly be applied.
That's why I like Newtown. Completely inexplicable things happen on a daily basis.
